Sunset Series' Salsa Del Soul Concert is July 11

The Sunset Series continues Thursday, July 11, with Latin/dance group Salsa Del Soul at 7 p.m. in Downtown Park. All Sunset Series concerts are free and open to the public. 90th Annual Raspberry Festival Begins July 17

The 90th Annual Hopkins Raspberry Festival kicks-off on Wednesday, July 17. Fan-favorite events not to be missed include the Hunt for the Golden Raspberry, the Marketplace Fair, Raspberry Jam in Central Park and the Grande Day Parade. View the full list of Raspberry Festival events. 


Hopkins Electric Vehicle Petting Zoo and Sustainability 
Event is July 20

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 20, for the Raspberry Festival's Marketplace Fair! New this year, the City will be helping to host a Sustainability Showcase from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mainstreet between 14th and 14th Avenues featuring:

  • An Electric Vehicle Petting Zoo: Local owners will have their electric cars on display and answer any questions you may have about them. Access Hopkins will have e-bikes on display and be available to answer questions. There will even be a fully electric school bus!
  • Hopkins Public Works will be showcasing their electric landscaping equipment and Zamboni
  • City staff will be sharing info on the newly adopted Hopkins Energy Action Plan and other sustainability initiatives being led by the City.

The Depot Youth Advisory Board's Freight Fest is July 20

Join the Depot Youth Advisory Board for Freight Fest on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Depot Coffee House. The event includes live music on the outdoor stage, a variety of student and adult craft vendors, food trucks and more for all ages.


National Night Out Party Registration Deadline is July 30

The Hopkins Police Department invites you to be part of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6. Build community by starting in your own back (or front) yard. Your event doesn’t have to be elaborate—it can be as simple as lemonade and conversation with neighbors. Plan a National Night Out party on your block by Tuesday, July 30, at noon, by calling 952-548-6407 or registering online.
