Free Leaf and Yard Waste Pick-Up Begins October 20

Free fall leaf and yard waste bag pick-up will be on your regular garbage day October 20 through November 13. If you live in the Bellgrove, Hobby Acres, Park Ridge and Interlachen Park neighborhoods, leaf and yard waste will be picked-up using front-end loaders and dump trucks November 3 through 6. Halloween in Hopkins is October 25

Break out your costumes a couple days early and head downtown for Halloween in Hopkins on Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring trick-or-treating along Mainstreet, a Haunted Jail Tour at the Hopkins Police Department (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), a costume contests (both human and pet!), kids games and more. 

Brush/Yard Waste Drop-Off Site Hours Change

The free brush and yard waste drop-off site is now open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The drop-off site will close for the season after November 11.
