The City of Hopkins is partnering with the Recycling Association of Minnesota to offer a rain barrel sale to Hopkins area residents. Rain barrels are $100 each and the sale opens February 28, 2026 at midnight. Rain barrels are purchased online through the Recycling Association of Minnesota.
Rain barrels can be placed around your home to catch fresh chlorine-free water as it pours from your downspouts – water that would otherwise make its way into storm sewers only to be wasted. Rain barrels not only save you money, but lessen the strain on water resources.
