How to Qualify

The Public Housing Program helps very low-income households with subsidized rental units. To qualify, annual gross household income cannot exceed $66,300 for a one-person household, $75,750 for a two-person household.

How the Waiting List Works

All applicants can check the status of their application after February 21, 2024. Information will only be provided online at www.waitlistcheck.com. Please do not call the Housing Authority for status information.

A lottery will be performed on all applications accepted through Waitlistcheck.com.  Only 300 applications will be made active and placed on the waiting list. The remaining applications will be listed as inactive and were not selected in the lottery.

If your legal name or mailing address changes, you must notify the Hopkins Housing Authority in writing to maintain your waiting list status.
