The Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment Authority provides rental apartments for low-income persons. Dow Towers, a subsidized high-rise located at 22 5th Avenue S, has 76 one-bedroom apartments.
There are no open waiting lists at this time.
The Public Housing Program helps very low-income households with subsidized rental units. To qualify, annual gross household income cannot exceed: One Person Household $62,600 or Two Person Household income of $71,550.
Applicants can check the status of their application after January 19, 2022. Information will only be provided online at www.waitlistcheck.com. Please do not call the Housing Authority for status information.
A lottery will be preformed on all applications accepted through Waitlistcheck.com. Only 300 applications will be made active and placed on the waiting list. The remaining applications will be listed as inactive and were not selected in the lottery.
If your legal name or mailing address changes, you must notify the Hopkins Housing Authority in writing to maintain your waiting list status.
