Refuse Fee on Your Utility Bill

Monthly Fees (Effective on January 1, 2026)

  • 35 Gallon, every other week pick-up: $15.74 plus state and county solid waste management fees*
  • 35 Gallon: $21.42 plus state and county solid waste management fees
  • 65 Gallon: $25.97 plus state and county solid waste management fees
  • 95 Gallon: $29.86 plus state and county solid waste management fees

*Must use the smallest size garbage, the 35 gallon cart, and be signed up for organics recycling

This is flat fee that each resident pays for one container. This fee covers charges connected in the garbage collection process: container costs, vehicle costs, labor, insurance, and disposal of garbage at a designated facility, etc.

Potential Additional Fees

Brush Pick-Up Charges

  • 0 to 5 cubic yards: $25
  • 5 to 17 cubic yards: $50
  • 18 cubic yard truckload: $100

Bulk Item Pickup Charges

  • $25 plus State and County Solid Waste management fees for each large item*
  • $25 plus State and County Solid Waste management fees for each ¾ cubic yard of smaller, bagged or boxed material

*Exceptions are mattresses, box springs and hide-a-beds, which are $100 plus state and county solid waste management fees per item

Callback & Extra Dump Fees

The callback fee for any size refuse cart is $15.

Extra dump fees are as follows, depending on the size of the cart:

  • 35 gallon: $3 plus state and county solid waste management fees 
  • 65 gallon: $6 plus state and county solid waste management fees 
  • 95 gallon: $9 plus state and county solid waste management fees
